The big news as of late is Monique started on the bottle a couple of days ago and today had some pretty good success with it. We were hoping to have a picture up of it, but we've been more focused on her taking the bottle. The first couple times she did, she was quick to have a bradycardia alarm - basically she get a mouth full of milk and not breath while she was thinking of what to do with the milk, until she eventually swallowed and things would be back to normal.

She's still growing and is now up to 3lbs 13oz and still putting on about an ounce a day! The thing of concern for us right now is that she's still have bradycardia alarms while she's sleeping. While this isn't necessarily alarming since she's still premature, they are a little concerned that she should be past that point and it's something else that's causing the alarm. The last theory we heard from our doctor was that she might have reflux - stomach acid being pushed up high enough in her throat to cause her epiglottis to cover her lungs and thus she stops breathing for a bit.
