Yikes - lots of things have been happening and we have been slacking on letting people know.

This past weekend David was down in Vergennes playing Ultimate Frisbee. The team went 0-4 on Saturday, 1-2 on Sunday. This was the first time the team had played together and there's hope that it will continue next year. David didn't make all of the games on Sunday though, because the NICU had a graduation party for all of the kids and their families that had been through the NICU. They send invites every year up until the kids turn 9 or 10 we understand. The party was at Shelburne Farms and they had various animals for petting, some wading pools filled with corn, bubble making toys and tasty food. We met up with some people who were in the NICU with us and had a good time.

Last weekend we drove down to Saratoga Springs to meet up with some friends who live in Minnesota, but were in mid-state New York for a wedding. We had lunch at a Ruby Tuesday's, then went to a park which had a sprinklers that we let the kids play around. Neither of them really wanted to go into the water, but didn't mind the spray off it.

The weekend before that - or more precisely July 28th - we helped friends of David move into their new home. Honestly it was one of the easiest helping jobs we'd been involved in, but that was mostly because they had started earlier in the day and we joined in after work.

Ok - that's a quick summary of what's been going on. Now that the frisbee tournament has passed and the colder season is starting to come in David is hoping to put more time into his band and they are looking to play out a couple times before the end of the year. Hopefully we'll let you know before they happen. :)
