Well hopefully Hell, Michigan had a roaring good time yesterday. Sadly Amy and I both had to work...
We had a good trip to Boston where we were able to relax and mostly just hang out. It was a decent enough weekend, which accounted for about 50% of the sun we've seen since the beginning of May.
This past weekend we did some house cleaning and a little bit of work putting up our new curtain rods. We also took a little time out leaving Monique with Grandma and Grandpa Coutu so we could go out for dinner and a movie. We saw The DaVinci Code, which we enjoyed, then ended up a Friendly's for dinner - most of the other restaurants in the Williston area had a 45 minute wait and we needed to get back to Monique. On the plus side the waiter had a great attitude and did a great job.
Unfortunately we had to pick up Monique from daycare a little early today because she was having some drainage from her right eye. So David brought her to the doctor's office and she was diagnosed with conjunctivitis, an ear infection and pneumonia (though the nurse said basically the cold was in her chest). So Monique is taking amoxicillin in the hopes that'll take care of the everything.
Finally, we've got plans for a get together this weekend. A "Bacon Wrapped" Party. Any of you remembering the first one will be familiar with the format - Chris and Jim are going to judge the submissions of various food wrapped in bacon. The difference this time is that the intent is to try for the good tasting and not be mean. :)
