The "Bacon Wrapped" party went very well yesterday. We had several submissions for judging ranging from pineapple wrapped in bacon to the not-quite-so-tasty chocolate-stuffed Oreo wrapped in bacon. In the end Jim and Chris nominated Colin's potato and cheddar wrapped in bacon for first place and Wendy's date wrapped in bacon for second, with Rebecca's pineapple wrapped in bacon as an honorable mention. Thanks to everyone for wrapping up such delectable and (in the case of the Oreo and snickers) interesting treats. Thanks to Jim and Chris for eating all that bacon - (Chris noted today that he was still avoiding bacon, but might be back up for it tomorrow :).

Unfortunately, today we went to the funeral for one of David's Aunts. She was diagnosed with bone cancer a couple months back, so it was not unexpected. She was still able to be a Grand Marshal in the Memorial Day parade in Essex Junction, which unfortunately we missed because we were in Boston. She is loved and missed.
