Happy New Year!

A little slow in the wishing of things. Remind us never to move around the holidays ever again. It certainly saps ones ability to enjoy the season. Things are coming together even faster than we were originally planning. Because the 21st is Martin Luther King Day and our buyer's attorney had a conference on the 18th we had to push the closing date up to the 17th. Then we moved the closing date on our new house to the 18th so we didn't have to wait the weekend for it. Good for settling in down there, but it is really testing our organizational abilities.

Another big plus is we've resolved the moisture issue or more precisely there is a planned solution for it. According to two different contractors the big issue is that our upstairs bathroom is incorrectly vented (directly into the knee wall instead of outside) and the downstairs bathroom needs a new fan (the existing one is very loud so we never ran it). After running the new fans for a while the attics should clean themselves up and the house will be better than ever (though the downstairs fan was probably good at one point...).
