We've got the papers signed for our house and they were able to get the inspection in on this weekend. Sadly they found an issue that we need to deal with. We have some water in our attic. No mold fortunately, but fixing it might be a bit of a pain since we're not sure why it is there. So we're trying to get a couple people in to look at it so we can get it resolved.
So while the Villages at Stow looked nice there's a couple draw backs...the garage has no extra room (some designs don't allow people to park their cars because it is too short) and the basement has no additional egress so you can never finish it. Amy also realized that she really wants to live closer to the city. So while Stow is a possibility it's not as high on our list as it once was.
Another place which is second on our list are the Church Street Condos of Northborough which are similar to the ones in Stow, but have only one car garages. They have one design with three bedrooms (the Winter design) which we're interested in.
Our current top ranking choice are the condos at Meeting House Lane. These, of course, are the most expensive, but our agent said the builder is making deals and one of the Fayville designs has only been framed, so we're going to see what kind of a deal we can get and go from there. These are only two bedroom places, but they have plenty of room to set up a guest room and more.
