This weekend was a little bit crazy. We didn't have anything planned, but we found out that Amy's Mom was admitted to the hospital on Saturday after being bit by something. The initial speculation was that she might have MRSA (basically a form of staph bacteria that has become resistant to antibiotics), so they began giving her one of the antibiotics that is still effective. Amy had a flight already purchased for going to Pittsburgh on 9/1, but decided that she'd move it up so that she could be around to help out. So we spent the weekend sorting things out so she could make the trip.

On the plus side the culture tests came back with nothing, so it is believed to have just been a nasty spider bite. Amy and Monique still made the trip out to Pittsburgh which will give Monique a longer time to hang out with her family out there. David on the other hand is stuck at home and trying to avoid spending all of his time in front of the computer. :)
