Our kitchen is almost done, unfortunately the clasps that were sent to hold our glass in for some of our cabinets didn't work and we need to wait until we get new parts (which because the person we've been dealing with is on vacation will have to wait for about a week and a half to get the glass installed). So we've been putting some of the stuff back in place and trying to figure out exactly how we want things to work.

Unfortunately, last night while we were putting things away a person came by to inform us that they had hit Callie. Night was falling and the driver didn't see her. Callie didn't survive the accident. For those of you who met Callie you know that she tried her best to claw her way into your hearts. Even though she wasn't an affectionate cat she still gave kisses, loved to play with her mouse, would go for walks with us around the block and occasionally even snuggle up with us. She had been a part of our family since she was 6 weeks old and she was with us for 5 1/2 years. She was our first baby girl and we'll miss her.

We've put up an album with pictures of Callie.
