We did the March of Dimes WalkAmerica walk today - David's sister and her family joined us along with Misty and her daughter and Brenda. They had three routes mapped out - one of 2, 4.5 and 7.5 miles. The group did the 4.5 mile loop (though David and Brenda cut out after 2 so they could go play ultimate frisbee). Thanks for coming out and joining us on the walk. Additionally, thanks to everyone else who raised money for the cause and helped support us. Finally, big thanks to Misty who took the image of the poster that was put out on the walk and made t-shirts with them.

One of the things I forgot to mention that has been occupying our time was David and his Dad took time to take out the carpeting in our upstairs bedroom and replace it with laminate flooring. There are still a couple pieces to put in and the trim needs to be purchased then installed, but we're back to living in it.

Tomorrow we're going to a wedding shower for some friends that we met while Monique was in the NICU (we figure Monique and their son were partying during the evening because they were sleeping all day).
