Monique has found a new "word" recently - Ooo. She likes saying this all of the time, but especially when happily playing with a toy.

We're finally breaking down and looking to put Monique into daycare. In looking at some professional Nanny services we found that they generally were paid from $10 - $15 / hour, which without some events coming to pass (winning the lottery, getting a better paying job, etc...) wasn't happening. So Amy spent a couple of days this week making trips out to different places near our home. We think we've found one and are planning on bring Monique there for an hour next Tuesday. Then we'll look to phase her into the daycare and hopefully she takes. :)

Big thanks go out to our friends Lori and Laurie for helping us with keeping her near to home for almost a year. Even though she's been doing great, we've had the memory of her prematurity in the back of our minds and it has been nice being able to delay this moment so that we could feel better about it.
